The Bakery is full of original features and was once upon a time, as the name suggests, Home Farm's bakery. It still has the original bake oven as well as a hand pump and stone sink. We're not sure when the room was stopped being used as a bakery but was in more recent times (after the second word war) used as the village brewery.
The Bakery is full of wonderful original features and is truly a one off.
We took over Home Farm in 2004 and set about turning it into the successful Bed and Breakfast that it is today. We have lovingly restored all the rooms in the house and have put back and exposed original features wherever possible.
Each room is individually furnished and decorated in a period style but also include contemporary and modern fittings to ensure a comfortable stay.
We keep our own hens which supply us with free range eggs for breakfast. We are also about to start keeping bees so hopefully by summer 2010 we will have our own honey.
We believe the best people to judge whether we are doing a good job is our guests. So to hear what they have to say about their stay at our Bed and Breakfast have a look at out reviews on Laterooms and Trip Advisor.
